Deepu Talla 現任自動化機械事業部門副總裁暨總經理,負責將AI相關技術推廣、運用至工業用機器人、商業用無人機、影像分析等領域。在此之前,他領導NVIDIA行動事業部門。2013年加入NVIDIA之前,則曾在德州儀器任職超過10年。

Abstract

Artificial intelligence in the form of deep learning is transforming and disrupting every industry. GPU computing has emerged as the standard of accelerated computing by increasing performance at Moore’s law squared.

This session will give an overview of NVIDIA’s industry-leading work in high-performance computing and AI, and its impact on autonomous vehicles, robotics, intelligent video analytics, and more.

Biography

Deepu Talla is vice president and general manager of Autonomous Machines at NVIDIA, where he is responsible for deploying AI technology in devices such as factory robots, commercial drones and video analytics. Previously, he was responsible for NVIDIA’s mobile business unit.

Prior to joining NVIDIA in 2013, he worked at Texas Instruments for more than 10 years in various executive management and technical leadership roles.

Talla holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and communication engineering from Andhra University in India, a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University, and a Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
